Having recently launched their excellent new website, National Galleries Scotland have republished the article I wrote during the development of A MOON THAT LIGHTS ITSELF.

In the article, I touch on the evolution of the nocturne, and the birth of recording and how they coincided with the development of impressionism in 19th century France.
