Napier University Sound Design MSc – Guest Lecture

I have just delivered a guest lecture for the Napier University Sound Design MSc programme.

The lecture centred on my composition and sound design work for blackSKYwhite Theatre Company’s production of OMEGA but strayed into other territories, including the birth of recording and its inevitable role in the divorce of music from context; the poetic possibilities for foley and field recordings in composition, and the demands of a Total Theatre approach.
