Feature – The Herald

On the day of the Black Glass Ensemble premiere performance at The Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh. The Herald newspaper has published an extensive preview feature in which I talk about the importance of liminality in my work, the development of the ensemble, and the transition from noise to music. Sincere thanks to Neil Cooper for giving me the opportunity to explain some aspects of the work.

Interestingly, the paper version sub editor chose to focus on vodka and broken arms as the incidental detail for the pull quote.
